Cultures of Sonic Silver Empty Cultures of Sonic Silver

Post by Sonic The Hedgehog Sun Oct 04, 2009 6:15 pm

Okay, I've made this topic to be short, but it is to explain the world of cult in the Sonic Universe. The universe of Mobius has many different places in it. Like for instance, we have the medieval lands, the tribal lands and the future lands. Now the important thing to know is that not every land is the same. The world is very diverse, and money plays an important role if you wanna buy things. Here I have played out the currency and culture of each culture so you can get through this easier. Next time you go to a futuristic shop and give them gold, you might wanna take a look at this.

Tribal Cultures a.k.a. Angel Island and ect

One should know that Angel Island and other places far from the rest of the world would have a different type of thinking. Those who have gone there have learned that they worship the Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds as the ultimate power. One must also know that the echidna world and the dingo world (both living on Angel Island) are enemies and have fought for generations of generations. The dingos are rather mercenary like, with cruddy present-time weapons. The Echidnas have the most advanced technology, some artifacts using direct energy from the jewels they worship. Their money is like so.

Credits and Gold don't work with the tribe. Their currency is coin or talisman money. Here's how it goes.

    50 coins = 1 talisman.

    100 talismans = 1 tribe feather.

It's pretty basic compared to the other forms of money, but gold is nothing compared to the tribal feathers. Tribal feathers earn respect in the village, so the more you have the more you are seen as wise. However, those with more black feathers are considered to be greedy. Dr.Finitevus has claimed more than a thousand black feathers....but let's not go there now.

Of course a chaos emerald is the most valuble thing besides Master emerald. You don't use it for money though. On Angel Island you bring it to the guardians so they may protect it.

Medieval Cultures a.k.a. Knothole and ect

The medeival lands are the independent communities who don't really like to use much technology. Sometimes there is a gadjet lingering around (like Nicole in Knothole) but most of the time it's back to the basics. This may or may not include the farmlands and barnyard style cities. Mining is one of the top reasons that make this land so unique from other worlds. Also in the medieval community, royalty is most present.

Gold, silver and bronze make up the currency of this nation.

    100 bronze coins = 1 silver coin

    100 silver coins = 1 gold coin

    100 gold coins = 1 ring

Rings are past gold since they contain magical energy. Any rings that have been traded in to a shop is usually given to the hospitals, since ring energy can help heal wounds. Once again chaos emeralds are considered the top of the list, and are treasured by whoever happens to claim one.

    Futuristic Cultures a.k.a. Metal City

Futuristic Cities share one common characteristic. They are all extremely high tech, and probably have the tallest towers in the universe. They are also where mechanics LOVE to go. The Future cities are quite popular, and they have left their mark on both the Tribal Cultures and Medeival Cultures. The Future cities have a funny way of thinking chaos emeralds are easily used. In fact, Metal City allowed Eggman to open a race in their streets for the chaos emeralds! Angel Island civillians and Future city citizens have been known to clash badly, so be carefull.

Credit cards or shall we say Credits are the main use here. Instead of using rings or tribe feathers to show respect, everyone is considered to be good by the technology they have.

    40 Blue Credits = 1 Green Credit

    40 Green Credits = 1 Yellow Credit

    40 Yellow Credits = 1 Red Credit

A Red Credit is the highest on the bar, unlike the medieval and tribal lands. Technology makes a huge impact on this world, so the best job here is a tech designer or a mechanic.

    Eggman Claimed Cities a.k.a. Robotropolis

Eggman's main base of a city is a cruel and ugly version of the clean and eco-friendly Future cities. It's the most polluted sight on the world, and is a huge country bordered with Knothole and New Mobotropolis. This place reaks of blood, smoke and garbage. Robots patroll the lands day after day. The Dark Legion is sadly serving the base because of their cybernetic parts and more citizens are being roboticized every single day. The Virus of Nanites are raiding the mechanical peoples all the time, changing their thoughts to serving Eggman.

There is no currency here. Chaos emeralds and the master emerald can get you on Eggman's good side. A ring will make him a little fonder of you. Nothing else works with him though.
