Mobius is a world of many different cultures. There is the guardian's with their tribal land but highly advanced technology, the medieval lands where people trust the monarchy to govern their territory, and the futuristic lands that show just how far mechanics have gone to make the most advanced utopia ever. The planet has it's beauty and it's darkness. Beauty in the landscapes of Soliana, Darkness in the Eggman Empire, which threatens to take over the land and transform it into one big polluted wasteland. Eggmanland.
Robotnik has tried to take over Mobius for the longest time, fighting generations of mobians in the effort to wreak havoc on the peacefull communities. He has claimed one of the major cities, Robotropolis, and has turned it into only a sample of what he could do to the rest of the world. Robotnik is ruled by robots and Eggman's Minions. Roboticized mobians have turned for the worst and have become soildiers for the insane doctor. There are also more Shadow Clones in production, some looking exactly like Shadow, others looking like mere roboticized monsters themselves. Some have been given free will and turned on their master, ending up as slaves or outcasts to the army. Eggman's army has also produced elite robots and has even taken over the Dark Legion, an echidna guardian group needing cyberkinetics to enhance their abilities. With this arsenal, he plans to take down everything one by one.
Meanwhile the freedom fighters have grown in size in Knothole/New Mobotropolis. Supporters are starting to show up already and Sonic, the leader of the freedom fighters, welcomes them. However, Sonic is beginning to gain a dark side known as Dark Sonic. With the appearance of Darkspine as well, Sonic is beginning to wonder if he has his own evil side. The freedom fighters have learned of small evil groups starting and hope to destroy them quickly before there are too many for them to handle. War with Dr.Eggman is just beginning, and the balance of the planet rests in their hands.
Reports of Mephiles return is starting to come true. A cult has formed, claiming they are his children and are planning to find the chaos emeralds, which are being thrown all over the world. This shadowy cult may be the most difficult to face, for their strength is plentifull. There is no end to them it seems, as if Mephiles hiself is picking the individuals to join him. All that is known is that a strange, stitch like scar is on every member....
Chaos are beginning to learn mobian speech and are being discovered as possibly intellegent beings. This evolution may lead one to think that the chao is either becoming more mutated or simply evolving.
The Master Emerald is being guarded by more than just Knuckles. Guardian apprentices are starting to appear on angel island, probably because of Dr.Finitevus, the insane echidna, and Eggman's reappearance. The echidna population has grown and so has the dingos. There may be another war between the two if this continues.
Change is creeping fast to the world. Rebels are starting to appear, and the royalty is asking for more missions. Freedom Fighters are starting to appear around the globe, unknown to the Knothole Freedom Fighters. Will you join the evil or the good? What will happen to this world? Held in the delicate balance of good and evil, only time will tell.
