When Mephiles is not near Solaris, or is not wanting to be recognized, he disguises himself as a hedgehog. With a similar appearance to shadow the hedgehog, it is no wonder why he is usually mistaken. He has no mouth, but can still speak without any effort to be heard. His normally red eyes are green but still have the reptile like pupils. He usually has his head down, making him almost zombie-like.
Usually Mephiles is in his crystaline form. In this form he still seems like a hedgehog, but is made up of darkness and black energy that keeps him in this strange form. This form is much more powerfull than normal. In this form he seems more comfortable, even though he still keeps his head down.
Other forms?
This form is monstrous, and is using the positive energy of the chaos emeralds. For some reason, this form is more of a hyper mode than a super mode, allowing him to defeat opponents with ease. The battleaxe he gains has most of the energy inside, making him more vulnerable without it. This form is Mephile's most widely used form.
Negative energy changes Mephiles into a monster of shadows and hatred. It is as powerfull as Super forms and is normally used before his hyper form. This shadowy monster devours people in it's large jaws.

Personality:
Mephiles has always been a dark, evil being. He hates the light side and wants a destructive realm. Solaris is his only goal. He is a very cunning creature, skilled in many things and is only fearing powers beyond his own. Mephiles wants followers and is not hesitating to recruit the unwilling. He likes to leave a seal of his ownership on their bodies...in the form of a stitch....

History

Bio:
Mephiles was created by Elise's father after they tried to experiment on Solaris. The result was a split of the fire being and the dark being, which is Mephiles. For many years he kept hiself in the dark, awaiting to be able to present hiself to the present and conquer the world. It was a long time before he was able to try.
His first task was to trick the future beings of Silver and Blaze into going back to kill Sonic, who was capable of stopping him. When they instead teamed up to save Elise, he angrily switched to violent methods. A run in with Shadow made him decide to kill Sonic, seeing how everyone was teaming up. Once he killed the hedgehog and stood triumphant, he joined Iblis and became Solaris.
Once Solaris was defeated however, he went into a sleep and was sent into a dimensional space. slowly dying, he was founded by a dark spirit deciding to awaken him. Once awakened and at full health, he devoured this being and became more powerfull. Deciding to have revenge, he shot out into the realms, ready to begin anew.
But he cannot do it alone. He is now collecting those he wishes to add on to his team. These people will ressurect Solaris for him and he will be able to make the world a worse place. Chaos is his goal and will he be able to?
